- Candidates should have a Graduation, Post Graduate Degree Related Stream from a recognized board.

- State Project Officer: Post graduation or Ph.D. in Agriculture/ Climate/Atmospheric Science/ Natural Resource Management/ Urban Planning/ Rural Development/ Social Work with some Research and work or Academics experience. Hazard Analyst: B.E / B.Tech/ M.Sc / M.A /MSW in the concerned department with Research, academic, extension, or professional job experience of at least 1 year.
- Environment Planner: M.Tech./ M.E. with 4 years minimum of experience in research, academic, extension work, or professional endeavors.
- Field Assistant: SSLC/ ITI with Minimum 2 years of experience maintaining networking and electrical equipment, as well as computer hardware.
- Architect: Post Graduation in Architecture with 3 years of experience in a Relevant field. Urban Planner: Post-graduation in Urban Planning/ Regional Planning a minimum of 2 years experience in academic or research planning.
- Hydrologist: P.G from the concerned department with 1 year experienced.
- GIS Specialist: PG in Earth Sciences/ Environmental Science/ Disaster Management with 2 years of working experience.
- GIS Technician: PG in Earth Sciences/ Environmental Science/ Disaster Management.
