• Candidates should have a Degree/Ph.D (Relevant Engg), Medical Qualification from a recognized board.

• Mamlatdar/Jt. Mamlatdar/Vigilance Officer: Degree in Law from a recognized University, Knowledge of local revenue laws, laws governing maintenance of law and order, planning and development works, Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi. Note: In case of non-availability of the candidates in the category of PwD, an equal number of posts to be kept vacant from the General Category.
• Block Development Officer: Degree in any branch from a recognized University or equivalent.
• Principal in Government Polytechnic: Degree of appropriate branch in Engineering/Technology with First Class or equivalent either at Bachelor’s or Master’s level and Ph. D. or equivalent.
• Planning Officer:  Degree in Economics of a recognized University, Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable, Post-graduate degree in Business Management, Knowledge of Marathi.
