Educational Qualifications

• Candidates should have 12th Class, Graduate, BA, B.ED, MA, M.Ed, Diploma, B.El.Ed, D.Ed. from a recognized board.

Mizoram TET Eligibility For Middle School Teacher

• Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- a year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- a year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedures), Regulations, 2002. OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- a year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- a year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.

MTET Eligibility For Middle School Teacher 

• Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR
• Graduation with at least 45% marks and passing or appearing in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year integrated B.A/B.Sc.B.Ed or B.A.B.Ed/B.Sc.B.Ed. OR
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in B.Ed. Special Education*. OR
• Post-Graduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
